Jula Jannaki was
born in Athens. She studied Piano, Theory and Harmonie in the
"Athenaeum" Conservatory -Maria Callas Institute.
During the years 2000-2006 she continued the piano studies in Vienna with Prof. Walter Fleischmann, Peter Efler, Traudl Panhofer, Walter Panhofer and Michael Hruby.
For one year she attended seminars of Instrumentation in the class of Ertugrul Sevsay and composed songs, which were performed in Austria in the "Italian Institute", "American Embassy" and "SPO Saal".
She also composed an opera for children based on a book written by Sophia Zarabouka.
After the invitation of Piero Bordin - director of the "Art Carnuntum Welt Theater Festival"- she performed her songs in the "Petronell Schloss" and received excellent critiques ("Standard Zeitung") and recorded her first cd (Production: Art Carnutum Welt Theater Festival).
She was invited to perform various concerts for the Austrian Radio (ORF- Radiokulturhaus) and then, both as a composer and a pianist for the Production of the "Institut International Theatre Mediterranne" (Unesco) for concerts in Austria with Richard Martin, in Bratislava, in the "National Theater of Budapest", in Belgrade, in the "Ancient Theater of Shvistov", in the "Notara Theater" in Bucharest, in the "Toursky Theatre" in France, in the "Archaeologisches Museum Carnuntum" in Constantinople in the "Yenikoy Palace" (Austrian Embassy), in the "Slovak State Television Film Festival" and in the "Romische Thermen" in Austria.
She composed the music for a short movie directed by Piero Bordin, filmed in Saint Tropez, which was presented in the European Film Festivals (Production: Art Carnutum Welt Theater Festival).
She has also cooperated with the international famous composer and ney flute performer Kudsi Erguner, with the singer Nezih Uzel, with the clarinetist and maestro Fatos Qerimaj and with the singer Touria Hadraoui.
She has recorded six personal Cds and one Vinyl: two of them with her own compositions and four solos (included Alban Berg Sonata Op.1 and Schumann Op. 82).
In 2014 she cooperated with the "State Theater of Nord Greece" in the "Lyssistrata Project" in Austria and received excellent critiques.
She performed also at the "Force Technology" in Copenhagen, Denmark and as a solist in the "Gesellschaft für Musiktheater" in Vienna.

Η Γιούλα Γιαννάκη γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα.
Σπούδασε πιάνο στην τάξη του Θεόδωρου Κοτεπάνου, ανώτερα θεωρητικά στην τάξη του Michel Bichsel (Μέθοδος Arnold Schoenberg) και συνοδεία Lied στην τάξη της Κατερίνας Βουρνάζου στο "Athenaeum-Maria Callas Institut" .
Από το 2000 έως το 2006 συνέχισε τις σπουδές πιάνου στη Βιέννη με τους καθηγητές Walter Fleischmann, Peter Efler, Traudl Panhofer, Walter Panhofer και Michael Hruby.
Παράλληλα παρακολούθησε σεμινάρια ενορχήστρωσης με το Ertugrul Sevsay και συνέθεσε τραγούδια τα οποία παρουσιάστηκαν με παιδική χορωδία στην "Αμερικάνικη Πρεσβεία" και στο "Ιταλικό Ινστιτούτο "στην Βιέννη.
Συνέθεσε επίσης την μουσική για μία παιδική Όπερα κατά παραγγελία της συγγραφέως Σοφίας Ζαραμπούκα.
Το 2004 μετά από πρόσκληση του Piero Bordin- διευθυντή του "Art Carnuntum Welt Theatre Festival", παρουσίασε τα τραγούδια της και απέσπασε εξαιρετικές κριτικές από την αυστριακή εφημερίδα "Der Standard" ενώ ταυτόχρονα ηχογράφησε το πρώτο της cd, παραγωγή του Φεστιβάλ "Art Carnuntum".
Το 2005 και το 2006 προσκλήθηκε από την Ελληνική Πρεσβεία δύο φορές για συναυλίες στην Αυστριακή Ραδιοφωνία - ORF ("Oesterreichisches Rundfunk"). Και στην συνέχεια ως συνθέτρια και πιανίστα από το "Institut International Theatre Mediterranee" στην περιοδεία "Odyssee du Danube" που διοργάνωσε η UNESCO για συναυλίες στην Κεντρική Ευρώπη: στο" Kulturfabrik" στην Αυστρία με τον γνωστό Γάλλο ηθοποιό Richard Martin, στο Δημαρχείο στην Μπρατισλάβα, στο Εθνικό Θέατρο της Βουδαπέστης, στη Βελιγράδι, στο αρχαίο θέατρο Svishtov στη Βουλγαρία, στο" Notara Theater" στο Βουκουρέστι και στο Toursky Theater στην Γαλλία. Το 2010 προσκλήθηκε για ρεσιτάλ στην Αυστριακή Πρεσβεία στην Κωνσταντινούπολη στο "Yenikoy Palace".
Και στην συνέχεια το 2013 για την συναυλία έναρξης του Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου της Κρατικής Τηλεόρασης της Σλοβακίας καθώς και μια συναυλία στο "Romische Thermen" στην Αυστρία.
Συνέθεσε την μουσική για μια ταινία μικρού μήκους σε σκηνοθεσία του Piero Bordin, που γυρίστηκε στο Saint Tropez και παρουσιάστηκε με επιτυχία σε Ευρωπαϊκά Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου.
Έχει συνεργαστεί με τους διεθνώς καταξιωμένους καλλιτέχνες όπως με τον συνθέτη και ερμηνευτή νέι Kudsi Erguner, με τον τραγουδιστή Nezih Uzel, με τον κλαρινετίστα και μαέστρο Fatos Qerimaj και με την τραγουδίστρια Touria Hadraoui.
Έχει στο ενεργητικό της 6 προσωπικά cd και ένα βινύλιο: δύο με προσωπικές της συνθέσεις και τέσσερα σόλο πιάνο (συμπεριλαμβανομένων των έργων "Alban Berg Sonata Op.1" και "Robert Schumann Op.82").
Το 2014 συνεργάστηκε με το «Κρατικό Θέατρο Βορείου Ελλάδος» στο «Lyssistrata Project» στην Αυστρία και έλαβε εξαιρετικές κριτικές.
Επίσης πραγματοποίησε συναυλία στην "Force Technology" στην Κοπεγχάγη και ως σολίστ ρεσιτάλ στη "Gesellschaft für Musiktheater" στη Βιέννη.
Ως πιανίστα έχει ασχοληθεί κυρίως με το ρεπερτόριο του 20 και 21ου αιώνα και έχει ηχογραφήσει ( πρώτη εκτέλεση) έργα του 21ου αιώνα μετά από πρόσκληση του συνθέτη.
